What this site collects.

Almost nothing. This page explains exactly what, and what happens if you email us.

The website

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We do not know who visits, how many of you there are, or which pages you read.

Every asset is served from this domain. There are no webfonts, no embedded videos and no third-party scripts, so loading a page here does not tell any other company that you did.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for a limited period, for security and diagnostics. That processing is necessary for operating the site and rests on our legitimate interest in keeping it running.

If you use the contact form

The form sends what you type to a script on this same server. It is not handled by a form service, an email marketing platform or anyone else, and it does not pass through another company on the way.

What we receive and keep:

• the site address, message and contact detail you enter;
• whether you ticked that the site is down;
• the time of submission;
• your IP address, which is recorded with the message and also used to limit how many submissions one address can make in an hour. Without that, the form would be filled with spam within a week.

Each submission is written to a file on our server and emailed to us. We keep both for as long as the correspondence is useful, and the basis for processing it is that you asked us to get in touch about work.

The form sets no cookies. It needs no JavaScript. It is an ordinary HTML form and it works with scripting switched off.

If you email us instead

Writing to [email protected] means we hold your message and your address, in our mailbox, for as long as the correspondence is useful. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work.

Either way, we do not add you to a mailing list. We have no mailing list. Your address is not sold, shared or passed to anyone else.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (AVG in the Netherlands) you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address above and we will do it.

The data controller is MagnetiCat . If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch supervisory authority.

Changes

If this site ever starts collecting more than it does today, this page will say so before it happens.
